The land in Cyprus is divided up into building zones. Each zone designates the maximum density of building area that can be utilised. Provided planning application abide by these rules, a planning permit is granted within a few months.
Our land terminology is as follows:
One donum = 14,400 ft² = 1,335 m² = One third of an acre.
One donum = 2.5 plots (one plot is the land a standard local house is built on)
One dekario = 0.75 donums = 1,000 m² = 10,780 ft²
One plot = approx. 500 m²
Anarita (10 minutes from Paphos
Town) Property code: AL-01
This plot of land is agricultural and is 8607m² large.
Arodes (20 minutes from Paphos
Town) Property code: AL-03
The plot size is 7,253 m˛ and
the building factor is 10%. This area is on the hills and next
to the Pegeia forest. The famous Lara Beach where the turtles
lay their eggs every year, is only 15 minutes away. And Polis,
the next largest city in the Paphos district, is only 15
minutes away also. Many fish tavernas and beaches are found in
Polis.
Kannaviou
(20 minutes from Paphos Town) Property code: KL-04
A plot of 530 m˛ and has a building factor
of 60%. It is next to a road making the plot very accessible. This village
is found at the foot of the Troodos mountains hills and Pafos Forest and
is about 1 hour to reach Troodos Platres. The famous cedar valley is within half an hours drive.
Kannaviou (20 minutes from Paphos
Town) Property code: KL-05
This is a large plot of 14,122 m² for sale. It is
in a very prominent position, with 360º views of the countryside and is at the
foot of the Pafos Forest and Troodos mountains. This location is
excellent for someone wanting total privacy and who wants to live on a large
estate with a custom built villa.
