About Us

This is a family run business, established in 1983 and the four current members of staff are:

Marios Michaelides - Director of Bettabilt Services Ltd

Marios studied at the English School in Nicosia and then attended the Westminster University in Marylebone, London. He worked in United Arab Emirates for five years and Iraq for one year before settling in Cyprus with his wife, Meriel and set up the company.

Meriel Michaelides - Co-Director, UK Branch

Meriel Michaelides studied Business in London and achieved excellent exhibition management, business and sales knowledge while in the UK, United Arab Emirates and Iraq. Her extensive knowledge of construction and old stone renovated houses remains valuable to this day. She handles the UK enquiries.

Leah Michaelides - Main Sales Representive and Website Co-ordinator

Leah Michaelides studied Geographical Information Systems at Kingston University in London and graduated in January 2007. She did a sandwich placement at Ordnance Survey in Southampton for a year and did a six-week conversation project in Fiji in 2003. Leah is extremely keen on agro-tourism, and environment conservation including renovating old stone houses.

Stamatoula Kouloumbaritsis - A valued Sales Representative and Adminstrator

Stamo Kouloumbaritsis, was born and bred in Zimbabwe and moved to Cyprus in 2003. She holds a degree in Marketing and Sales from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In Zimbabwe, Stamo ran a Tour Operating business which covered the whole of the southern African region as well as Mauritius, Maldives, Comores, Madagascar and the Seychelles. Stamo joined Bettabilt in March 2007 and proved to be a successful force behind sales.
