This old stone house has 4 rooms and can be renovated and converted into a 4 bedroom traditional Cypriot house with 3 bathrooms. The original stones and traditional arch styles can be maintained. The house sits on a covered area of 140m² and the entire plot size is 430m².
For a person interested in traditional house preservation, a courtyard garden can be added, Cypriot ceramic tiles can be used and traditional wooden beams can be applied to the ceilings to give the house a charismatic appearance. Grapevines can be planted to grow up and over a pergola giving lots of shade in the hot summer months.
The reason for the cost stated is that the old stone house is a listed building. A government grant from €68,000 can be applied for. This will be given to the new owner once the new house has been converted, maintained and completed.
We have our own construction crew who will be able to do this. We have done an example of this work previously. Please scroll down to Cosson's house on this page http://www.bettabilt.com/construction.html.
