What building standards do you work to? Bettabilt’s building works meet local and British standards and building regulations. Bettabilt has an excellent working relationship with the local Land’s Office and service providers - essential for the smooth running of the project. How long will it take to build a house? Usually a year after receipt of planning permission. What sort of details will I have for the construction of my home? A sample of a building specification and contract is available on request.This meets with the legal and building requirements. What changes can I make? Your home is designed to meet your needs and budget. Design changes are best made at any time during the design stage before submission to the Planning Department. Subsequent changes can be made during the course of construction. What are legal costs like in Cyprus? Most legal firms will charge a package price which will include contracts, application to the Local Authority concerning ownership of property, transfer of title, even telephone application. The cost varies between cy£500 and cy£1,000.
